How can I lower my water bill?
You can learn about water conservation. Check for leaks in you faucets and hose connections, replace worn out fixtures and washers. To test your toilet, add several drops of food coloring into the toilet tank. If it is leaking, the food coloring will appear in your toilet bowl without having to flush your toilet. You may also want to consider using your sprinkler system in early morning or evening hours. The DPW also offers a second meter for your outside water usage. The charges incurred are for water use only. To apply for a second meter, see the Second Water Meter page.
