What kind of senior transportation is available?

Chesterfield Township Senior Services partners with the county-wide SMART program and Richmond/Lenox EMS to provide limited transportation services for the senior and disabled population.  It is available to senior citizens (55 years of age and older) and disabled persons who reside in Chesterfield Township.

The service area includes I-69 to the north, 16 Mile Road to the south, Lake St. Clair to the east and M-53 to the west.

Transportation is available Monday-Friday from 7AM-7PM and on Saturday from 9AM-3PM.  Travel must be scheduled a minimum of three-days in advance and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Transportation can be reserved up to four months in advance. Seating is limited. Please call 586-749-7713 

Note: The dispatcher will answer the phone "Richmond Lenox EMS". There is no cost for this service. A donation is suggested.
