Payment Options
The Chesterfield Township Treasurer’s Office processes payments for:
- Real and personal property tax statements
- Park and Recreation Registration
- Water & Sewer Division billing
- Planning & Building Department billing
- General revenue billing
The Treasurer’s Office is open 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Cash and personal checks are accepted at Township Hall.
Chesterfield Township now accepts credit card payments for water bills, Parks
and Recreation registration and building Permits at the Township Hall. The
Township does not accept credit card payments for taxes or special assessment at
the Township Hall. Credit card payment for Taxes are only accepted online or by
phone through Official Payments Inc..
Automatic Payments
Residents can have their Chesterfield Township Water and Sewer payment deducted
automatically from their checking or savings account. There is no charge for
this service. You can click here to get the Enrollment Form necessary.
All payments returned NSF or any charges or reversals made after posting will be
assessed a $25.00 administrative fee.
Credit Card Payments
To pay your property taxes by credit card over the phone, simply call Official
Payments Corp. toll free at (800)2PAY-TAX, (800)272-9829, and follow the
instructions. You will be prompted to enter a Jurisdiction Code, which is 3298.
You will be informed of the convenience fee, which will be based on the amount
you are paying. You will be given a confirmation number at the end of the call,
which you should keep for your records. Your payment will be posted on the
next business day.
To pay taxes by credit card over the internet, simply click on this OFFICIAL
PAYMENTS link. (This independent third party will charge the taxpayer a
fee to use its services. However, unless or until taxes are paid by the
way of authorization from the credit card company, those taxes remain the
taxpayer's liability). All charge backs or reversals made after
posting will be assessed a $25.00 administrative fee.
