General Labor/Park Maintenance Worker – Seasonal

Chesterfield Township is looker for Seasonal General Labor/Park Maintenance Workers.   Under direct supervision, an employee in this entry level seasonal position will perform a variety of unskilled manual tasks requiring physical strength and coordination; follow simple routines during the construction, repair and maintenance of Township facilities; perform related duties as assigned. Work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a flexible 30-40 hour week, including weekend hours.

General Intern

Chesterfield Township is searching for three general interns.  Under direct supervision, an employee in this position will be tasked with multiple responsibilities and work with various Township Departments.  The primary responsibility will be assisting with the 2018 Elections, including, but not limited to, processing Absentee Voter ballot applications; Absentee Voter ballots; data entry; filing and preparing election day materials and equipment; perform related duties as assigned.  This position will also assist with the planning and coordination of the Chesterfield Township Community Enrichment Programs and the Chesterfield Arts & Music Festival.  Work hours are variable and may include weekends.

Election Inspector

Chesterfield Township is looking for Election Inspectors for the upcoming elections in 2018. Computer skills and/or experience with Electronic Poll Books are welcome, but not required. Must be a registered voter in the State of Michigan. Rate of pay is $144.00 for the day, with an additional $20.00 for attending training sessions. Hours would be from 6:00am until the election results are tallied after 8:00pm.
